Job Summary:

Service Specialists Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and Coordinate: Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
  • Communication: Communicate with project team regarding ASI's, RFI's, and Material Submittals.
  • Subcontractor Management: Ensure subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
  • Inspections: Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
  • Safety and Compliance: Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
  • Conflict Resolution: Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
  • Job Site Management: Maintain a daily log of activities on the jobsite.
  • Deficiency Resolution: Ensure subcontractors have corrected all deficiencies identified by the project team.
  • Progress Monitoring: Walk all units on the project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
  • Subcontractor Meetings: Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.
  • Non-Compliance: Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regards to quality of work or scheduling.
  • Job Site Organization: Ensure the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
  • Punch List Completion: Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.

Requirements:

  • Travel: Must be able to travel to the jobsite(s) as assigned.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of verifiable experience, thorough knowledge of trades, and be computer literate.
  • Office Experience: Office experience of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Project & Outlook) is also preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
  • Writing Skills: Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Public Speaking: Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $90-115K per year.
  • Vehicle or Allowance: Vehicle or allowance provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
