Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the work of subcontractors and/or Yates trade partners
  • Oversee and manage project activities, including safety, schedule delivery, quality of work, and budget
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project team members
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards
  • Manage and coordinate project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues
  • Collaborate with project team members to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with clients, subcontractors, and project team members
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation, including project files, reports, and correspondence

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of previous commercial construction management experience
  • Medium to large project experience ($20M+) is required
  • Bachelor's Degree – Construction Management or Engineering is preferred
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong working knowledge of programs such as Primavera, Excel, Word, and MS Project
