Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Clinical Nurse II to join our Labor and Delivery team at UNC Rex Holly Springs Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and post-discharge follow-up to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit goals and performance improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current NC RN licensure.
  • ACLS, BCLS, and NRP certifications.
  • One year of experience working as a licensed RN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
