Responsibilities- Provide competent nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and post-discharge follow-up to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to a safe and supportive work environment by maintaining open communication, promoting teamwork, and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and professional development activities to enhance patient care and nursing practice.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current NC RN licensure.
- ACLS, BCLS, and NRP certifications.
- One year of experience as a licensed RN in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
