PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Ensure a secure and safe working environment.
  • Comprehend and comply with all safety regulations and procedures to safeguard oneself and colleagues.
  • Inspect products for quality issues and promptly notify the operator or coordinator.
  • Achieve packing standards consistently.
  • Operate machinery as required.
  • Load materials onto conveyors and flamers.
  • Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas and around equipment, including mopping when necessary.
  • Clear away scrap materials from the production line.
  • Process and handle plastic materials as needed.
  • Assemble and organize cartons as directed.
  • Initial and date the labels on boxes.
  • Complete unit tickets as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Capability to handle materials weighing 30-40 lbs.
