About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Team Member to join our team at Emmi Roth USA. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cheese manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the operation of machinery and equipment used in the cheese conversion or food manufacturing process to ensure efficient production.
  • Work closely with other production associates and team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.
  • Load packaging and raw materials into food manufacturing equipment.
  • Safely and efficiently move products and materials within the facility, following proper handling procedures.
  • Ensure all ingredients and materials are readily available for production activities.
  • Monitor production lines to ensure the smooth flow of operations.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and complete quality documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Inspect products for defects, ensuring they meet the required quality criteria before packaging and distribution.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and work areas following proper sanitation and cleaning procedures.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Previous experience operating packaging machinery in a manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred but not required.
  • The ability to safely operate electric pallet jacks.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
  • Ability to work overtime or extended shifts as needed.
