Physical Therapist

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in the management of patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including those requiring acute care and critical care services.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients and develop comprehensive treatment plans to address their physical therapy needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments and interpret examination findings to determine the nature and extent of dysfunction.
- Administer and prescribe modalities and other physical agents to promote patient recovery and rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement exercise programs to improve patient mobility and function.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective discharge planning.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on proper self-care and rehabilitation techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in physical therapy to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Completion of an accredited PT training program with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current Physical Therapist License in California (or eligibility for licensure).
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- 2+ years of experience in acute care or critical care settings.
- Experience working with patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring cardiac and stroke rehabilitation.
- Bilingual Spanish language skills.
