Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Huntington Park, California.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing physical therapy services to help patients recover from injuries or illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients to determine the nature and extent of their physical limitations and develop individualized treatment plans to address their needs.
- Provide physical therapy services, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions to help patients improve their mobility, strength, and function.
- Work with patients to establish goals and develop strategies to achieve them, and provide ongoing support and guidance to help patients progress towards their goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Document patient progress and outcomes, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care.
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in a rehabilitation or physical therapy department.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
