Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Nolland Hospital Birmingham Downtown. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to provide optimal patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out the Physical Therapy Treatment Plan as directed by a Physical Therapist.
  2. Observe and report patient responses to treatment to the Physical Therapist.
  3. Maintain adequate documentation for patient and departmental records.
  4. Supervise staff under your supervision and assist in problem-solving.
Education and Experience:
  • Associates Degree from an American Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
  • Current licensure to practice as a physical therapist assistant in Alabama.
  • None required, but three months of on-the-job training provided.
Requirements:
  • CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in routine.
