Job Summary

Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to serve as a Marketing and Communications Assistant. This role plays a critical part in supporting the college's online presence and requires strong computer skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging content for social media, including video and multimedia projects, to promote the college's brand and events.
  • Office Support: Provide administrative support to the Marketing and Communications team, including copying, filing, and general office duties.
  • Event Support: Assist with events and special projects as directed, including setup, coordination, and execution.
  • Photography and Archiving: Maintain the Office of Communications' photography archive and assist in monitoring social media pages for the college.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with other students on campus to help promote and cover college events.
Requirements
  • Strong Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide exceptional customer service and interact with students, faculty, and staff in a professional manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all assigned work.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the success of the Marketing and Communications team.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
