Job Title: Sales Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team at Teledyne. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to drive business growth and revenue expansion in global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to develop a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with Teledyne's business objectives.
  • Global Pipeline Management: Maintain a daily/weekly pipeline of sales opportunities to guide Teledyne's business and manufacturing planning.
  • Representative Management: Identify, hire, and motivate manufacturers' representatives to sell Teledyne products. Establish goals and provide technical and sales assistance to the representatives.
  • Business Development: Participate in decisions with engineering, production, accounting, and top management to guide future and current business.
  • Trade Show and Event Support: Attend and support trade shows and professional societies such as PMMI.
  • Marketing Support: Assist in the creation of promotional and advertising materials.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with Teledyne's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience selling technical equipment, preferably related to liquid filling or inspection, in the food and beverage industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Comprehensive understanding of liquid applications and related technologies. Ability to learn and understand complex technical requirements.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Environment: Professional office environment and/or home office.
  • Travel: Up to 50% of time, via air, car, or other as required.
  • Physical Demands: Extensive walking, standing, and bending when conducting customer plant visits and trade shows.
