About Us

New Life Centers of Chicagoland NFP is partnering with six local community-based organizations to enhance Community Violence Intervention (CVI) in Chicago's most affected neighborhoods.

Job Description

This full-time Program Coordinator role requires assisting the Director with day-to-day tasks, ensuring timely submissions, and maintaining a cohesive work environment. Flexible scheduling is required, and the successful candidate will be based in one of the focus neighborhoods: Little Village, Pilsen, or Brighton Park.

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Director with administrative tasks.
  • E nsure accurate and timely submissions of communications.
  • Maintain open communication with NLC leadership.
  • Coordinate meetings with team and partners.
  • Monitor team's progress and ensure timely submissions.
  • Manage finances and track expenses.
  • Collaborate with Program Supervisors and Partners.
  • Engage effectively with project partners and address challenges collaboratively.
  • Attend trainings and orientations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Respond promptly to requests from Program Director, Data and IT Specialist, and Finance Manager.
  • Work closely with referring partners to achieve goals.
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with partner organizations and develop a 'warm referral' network.
  • Maintain budget accuracy and ensure spending within budget.
  • Participate in required evaluations.
  • Demonstrate New Life Centers' values.
  • Attend required meetings and training.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
