Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at Hyatt House Anchorage. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining and setting up food production and quality control of all meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, seasoning and all other food items prepared in the different kitchen stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and set up food production and quality control of all food items prepared in the kitchen
  • Ensure preparation, plating and presentation standards are maintained and safety standards and regulations are followed
  • Maintain the sanitation and maintenance of a safe work and food prep environment
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth food service operations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Prior hotel or hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
  • State Food Handlers required or ability to obtain one
