At AMR, we're seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) that will provide high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients. As an EMT, you'll be responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
- Utilize EMT skills, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
- Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.
Other Responsibilities:
- Participate in community programs to enhance AMR's image and foster strong community relationships.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Kansas EMT Certification or Kansas Eligibility
- CPR certification
- NREMT certification preferred
- State Driver's License
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
