About the Role:

MaineGeneral Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing distributive pharmacy services, assistance, and support to our patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems and prepares compounds within scope of practice
  • Provides advanced level of support to peers, pharmacists, internal and external customers
  • Assists in new policy and procedure development and implementation, as well as staff mentoring and training
  • Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy and other service departments
  • Assists in monitoring and performing various quality tasks to assure regulatory compliance

Requirements:

  • Maine state licensure as a Pharmacy Technician or eligible for the same through reciprocation required
  • Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required
  • Experience in healthcare or hospitality industry preferred
