At Packaging Corporation of America, we are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on all plant equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Work with a sense of urgency to respond to machine downtime events
  • Complete in-house training programs to develop equipment-specific maintenance skills
  • Attend external training as required
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment
  • Knowledge and experience with repairing and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills

  • Competitive pay range from $26.31 to $35.98 based on skills and experience
  • Excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401K plan
  • 1.5 pay over 8 hours, over 40 hours
  • 1.5 pay on holidays, plus additional overtime over 8 hours on holidays
  • Uniforms provided
  • Up to 100 paid training hours annually for technicians to advance through progressive skill levels
  • Stipend for safety shoes, safety glasses, and tools
