Help Desk Professional Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  1. The Help Desk Professional engages with customers via multiple channels, including phone, email, and self-service portal, to provide detailed intake of service desk calls.
  2. This role involves mentoring junior staff and contributing to their professional development.
  3. Configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and coordination of repair of hardware such as laptops and mobile devices at the service desk are key responsibilities.
  4. The Help Desk Professional develops and reviews IT knowledge articles for the end-user support portal.
  5. Required data collection from customers facilitates the resolution of their issues or requests.
Requirements:
  1. 2 years of experience in imaging, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting hardware (PC and iOS devices) are required.
  2. A minimum of 3-5 years of service desk or technical support experience is necessary.
  3. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  4. Proficiency in speaking and writing English is essential; fluency in Portuguese is a plus.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
