Job Overview

At Allen Turner Chevrolet, we are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to ensure that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
  • Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs and execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
  • Service Technician experience required.
  • ASE Certification preferred.
  • Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.
