Pavion Corp is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Controller II to join its corporate team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, planning, and control, with a proven track record of delivering accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and monitor key financial metrics to assess the company's financial health and performance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Develop annual operating budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets, identify and report on variances.
  • Make recommendations for targets, budgets, and cost-saving measures to senior management.
  • Conduct financial analysis, interpret financial data, and provide insights to senior management on financial performance, trends, and opportunities.
  • Monitor cash flow and liquidity positions, ensuring adequate working capital to support ongoing operations and growth.
  • Develop and implement financial control procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Oversee the internal control environment and conduct periodic audits to identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Conduct financial analysis for potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships, including due diligence and financial modeling.
  • Assess the financial implications of new business opportunities and provide recommendations on their viability and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in financial analysis, financial planning, financial controls, and financial modeling.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is highly desirable.
