As a Clinical Nurse 2, you will join a team of experienced professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care on our 15-bed Medicine Unit at HUP Cedar 6NW.

About the Position

This is a full-time position working rotating shifts, every 3rd weekend, with a salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year based on experience. In this role, you will work closely with our interprofessional healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care to adult patients with acute medical needs.

You will have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives, develop your skills and expertise in areas such as evidence-based practice and leadership, and work with state-of-the-art technology to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that prioritize the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate and improve patient care processes and outcomes.
  • Integrate best current evidence with clinical expertise to inform patient care decisions and advance practice.
  • Participate in leadership development opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school and more than 15 months of relevant professional nursing experience. You must also hold a Pennsylvania RN licensure and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
