Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized attention to each prospective resident, ensuring that their needs are met through the entire sales process.
  • Report to the Director of Membership Services/Broker and work alongside a team of Sales Associates to meet sales goals.
  • Conduct discovery and listening to qualified prospective residents' needs, wants, and concerns.
  • Personalize sales approach to each individual prospective resident according to their unique personality and buying style.
  • Contribute to community census by qualifying leads, managing a pipeline of prospects, conducting sales activities, and recording notes in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Manage self-driven daily activity by scheduling and completing sales activities and accurately recording their completion utilizing the community's CRM software.
  • Maintain awareness of competition and other market factors that influence prospective residents' decision-making.
  • Document and communicate feedback from prospective residents, both positive and constructive, in a way that enables and enhances future decision making.
  • Collaborate with team members on the Sales and Marketing Team and the greater interdepartmental teams.
  • Participate in one-on-one sales meetings, coaching, and ongoing training and skills development.
  • Recognize areas of product improvement according to customer feedback and industry trends and suggest product improvements.
  • Produce routine reporting that empowers sales activities and provides valuable information about customer preferences and objections.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation throughout the sales and transaction process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of sales experience, preferably within the Senior Living industry or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with prospects, residents, families, and co-workers.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Valid CA Real Estate License.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communication, marketing, or related field is preferred.
