Middle School Reading Learning Specialist

Explore Schools is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Middle School Reading Learning Specialist to join our team. As a Learning Specialist, you will work closely with students, teachers, and staff to provide targeted support and instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide data-driven support through differentiated and specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
- Work collaboratively with grade-level teams across content areas to develop and implement effective instructional strategies.
- Assist teachers with differentiation in the classroom and provide additional support to students as needed.
- Collaborate with the student intervention referral team to identify and support students who require additional support.
- Administer testing accommodations and provide a range of instructional, management, and assessment strategies to meet the different needs of students.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Education preferred.
- Classroom teaching experience required; 2 years strongly preferred.
- New York State Teaching Certification, preferred.
- Special Education Certification, preferred.
