About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Server to join our team at Belmont Village, a senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional care and hospitality services. As a Restaurant Server, you will play a vital role in delivering a memorable dining experience to our residents and their guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional dining service to assigned tables in our on-site restaurant
  • Take meal orders from residents and their guests and enter them accurately into our Point of Sale System
  • Complete all front of house side work in preparation for meal service to ensure efficiency, organization, and sanitation
  • Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the community

Requirements

  • Be 16 years of age or older
  • Be proficient in written and verbal English
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on position
  • Have an interest in working with the aging population

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a dining room server in a fast-casual or fine dining restaurant
  • Find value and personal fulfillment in serving or working with the senior population
  • Be self-directed with strong active listening skills and efficient time management skills
  • Have coworkers or colleagues describe you as someone who takes initiative, is dependable, and hard-working
