Job Overview

The Sanitation Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the comprehensive Facilities Management of a unit, which encompasses both Facilities Management and Building Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the sanitation team to guarantee a hygienic and sanitary working environment within a food production setting.
  • Assist in the formulation and management of sanitation and maintenance strategies, while establishing operational objectives.
  • Organize and allocate daily work tasks effectively.
  • Conduct weekly evaluations, document observations, and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Promote operational efficiencies and ensure adherence to all company and client policies, including safety regulations and workplace standards.
  • Manage weekly inventory of supplies and familiarize oneself with budgetary constraints.
  • Act as the representative of Aramark Facility Services in daily interactions with client personnel and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience coupled with a technical background, particularly in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Proven ability to manage within a diverse environment, emphasizing client and customer service as a key to success.
  • Experience in directing skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled personnel in both unionized and non-unionized settings is essential.
  • Capability to oversee capital projects, maintenance strategies, and funding requests, along with strong financial analysis and computer skills.
  • Experience with P&L accountability and/or contract-managed services is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in food production and sanitation is mandatory.
