Veterinary Diagnostic Sales Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Veterinary Diagnostic Sales Consultant to join our team at IDEXX. As a key member of our commercial business, you will play a critical role in communicating the value of our veterinary diagnostic and technology products and services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our veterinary customers to help sell IDEXX's medical device diagnostics portfolio of products.
- Engage customers through knowledgeable interactions, business discussions, and educational opportunities about what IDEXX has to offer.
- Leverage consultative selling techniques to translate customer needs into diagnostic solutions that leverage IDEXX's suite of products and services.
- Establish yourself as a valued partner to our veterinary customers, helping them grow their diagnostic revenue.
- Manage your territory and customer base to increase recurring diagnostic revenue and attain quarterly medical device equipment sales.
- Collaborate with other IDEXX sales professionals in the region to close capital equipment and technology sales.
- Educate and train veterinary clinic staff about products, services, and marketing initiatives, including how to engage customer service.
- Communicate customer needs and competitive issues to IDEXX's marketing organization and business unit manager.
- Present IDEXX's values to our customers in a professional manner, including an understanding of our industry, veterinary practice, customers, technology, operations, and processes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience.
- 2-3+ years of experience successfully managing your own sales territory, either in an outside or inside capacity.
- Sales experience in the veterinary/animal health industry, human healthcare, medical device sales, dental device sales, and/or prior capital equipment sales preferred.
- Ability to work well with others in a highly team-oriented, collaborative sales environment.
- Ability to meet the requirements of a sales role that include international air travel and lifting up to 60 pounds.
- Comfortable working in veterinary clinic and hospital environments.
- Must reside within 2 hours of the Miami or Orlando International airport(s), with the ability to travel to various Caribbean Islands approximately two weeks per quarter or as business needs require.
- Must have a valid Passport.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Base salary averages between $65,000 to $68,000 / year (base dependent on experience).
- Lucrative quarterly commission structure.
