About the Role

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking a skilled Geotechnical / Construction Materials Testing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of construction materials on various projects throughout the southeast.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site inspections and testing of soil, geosynthetics, and concrete to ensure compliance with construction standards and specifications.
  • Monitor general contractor activities and report any deviations or issues to the project team.
  • Collect and analyze data from various testing apparatuses to inform project decisions.
  • Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of testing results and project progress.
Requirements
  • Relevant education and experience in geotechnical engineering or a related field.
  • Schedule flexibility to accommodate varying project demands.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ACI, NICET, and ICC certifications.
  • Experience with construction materials testing and inspection.
