Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler I to join our team at 001 - Revlon Consumer Products LLC. As a Material Handler I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within our Filling and Assembly department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Movement: Responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely movement of materials (components, bulks, labels, etc.) to and from the assigned areas in the Filling and Assembly department.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain documents and records needed to properly account and reconcile the movement of material. Update systems as needed.
  • Support for Work Order Closure: Assist with providing needed documentation for work order closure activity.
Major Duties
  • Safe and Clean Work Environment: Perform all work in a safe and clean manner, maintaining a safe workplace, free of clutter and hazards. Notify supervisor immediately of any hazards in the area.
  • Compliance with GMP Guidelines: Be aware of, knowledgeable of, and comply with all Revlon GMP guidelines and procedures.
  • Verification of Incoming Components: Verify incoming components and bulks against work order/job information for accuracy and validity. Must verify part/component number, lot number, bulk information, and label information. Responsible to check counts on components (as needed) and weights on bulks (as needed).
  • Repacking and Restocking: Repackage cartons of components, palletize, and prepare documentation for restock to the warehouse.
  • Productivity and Accuracy: Meet individual productivity and accuracy measures, and contribute to overall department productivity goals.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, walkie riders, and forklifts.
  • Quality and Integrity: Maintain quality and integrity of product/components and bulks in the area at all times.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other similar duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Computer System Operation: Operate manufacturing computer systems, including WMOS, GEMMS, MMCS, FACTS, and others as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Entry-level position.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must have a forklift license. Must meet vision requirements. Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Skills: Must have good, legible handwriting and be able to use a keyboard for system updates. Must possess or be able to train quickly, basic computer skills, and understanding of concepts involved in material control with computer-based inventory systems.
  • Physical Demands: Occasionally push and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time. Consistently lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Maneuver containers weighing up to 400 lbs. Climbing a ladder and/or steps is required.
