Terminal Operations Director

At CrossCountry Freight Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Terminal Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and on-time delivery of goods.
As a Terminal Manager, you will be responsible for directing a team of staff members to ensure efficiency and compliance in our operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, implementing, and overseeing the work of staff members to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Monitoring and directing all dispatching activities, including tracking, routing, and dispatching transportation vehicles
- Implementing changes to transportation services, policies, or scheduling as needed
- Coaching team members to develop their skills and talent
- Producing high levels of service, including on-time pickup and delivery
- Producing high levels of productivity and optimal levels of labor spend
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of one year of experience in LTL Operations or a comparable leadership role
- A valid Class A CDL
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Career-oriented and plans for succession at all levels
- An independent thinker with the ability to engage team members
