Progressive Care Unit RN

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit at Royal Oak Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with critically ill patients and develop your critical care skills.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Partner with patients and families to develop individualized care plans and provide education and support to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Associate's or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years for new graduates or RNs with less than 1 year of experience.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required within 60 days of hire.
- American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
