We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Progressive Care Unit team at Corewell Health. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care to adults and pediatric patients with cardiac conditions, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process and patient-family centered care principles.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, incorporating patient and family goals and preferences.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care, including medication management, wound care, and education.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN preferred within 5 years.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Specialty certification in Cardiac Progressive Care or a related field highly recommended.
