About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neuro Progressive Care unit at Corewell Health Royal Oak Hospital. As a RN Progressive Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our patients with acute neurological conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to patients with acute neurological conditions, including stroke, neurosurgical interventions, and epilepsy monitoring.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient symptoms, medications, and treatments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Associate or Diploma in Nursing Required.
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required within 60 days of hire.
