Job Title:
Billing Representative II

Job Summary:
This role provides key support to functional groups, including performance of specialized administrative functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling and arranging amounts owed, processing and coding documents, maintaining records and files, monitoring detention events, and preparing invoices and record transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to collect documentation for invoicing, inputting, and processing transactions into billing systems.
  • Answer customer billing questions and troubleshoot billing issues.
  • Understand and execute administrative procedures, policies, and practices.
  • Communicate with people within the organization to answer questions, address concerns, and resolve basic problems.
  • Distribute and track outgoing correspondence to external customers for return compliance and authorization.
  • Prepare billing information and verify changes to support accurate and efficient billing process and financial close.
  • Understand contract implications and implement invoicing in compliance with customer needs.
Qualifications:

Work Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative, business, finance, accounting, or transportation/logistics role.
&/OR demonstrated ability of the following skills through education, certifications, or other experiences
  • Ability to act professionally.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written settings.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly learn a new software system.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to partner effectively with internal stakeholders.
