  • Provide consulting services directly to clients, ensuring their needs are met with high standards.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration is mandatory.
Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Over 10 years of engineering experience, specifically in:
    • Designing HVAC and plumbing systems.
    • Managing multiple concurrent engineering projects.
    • Interpreting and creating technical drawings.
    • Leading design teams effectively.
    • Overseeing project teams to ensure budget and schedule adherence.
    • Proficiency with Load Calculation Software.
    • Working knowledge of REVIT and CAD software.
    • Experience in developing fee and qualification-based proposals.
    • Familiarity with local authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) and industry involvement.
Technical Skills

Additional skills and knowledge include:

  • Understanding and applying relevant mechanical, energy, and plumbing codes to ensure compliance.
  • Ability to read and prepare detailed project drawings, including ductwork and piping plans.
  • Experience performing HVAC calculations and analyses using industry-standard software.
  • Energy modeling experience is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Capability to lead interdisciplinary projects and teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
Skills and Certifications

Professional Engineer certification is required for this position.
