Job Overview

Larkin Street Youth Services is a leading provider of housing and services to homeless youth in the Bay Area. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Manager to oversee our programs supporting young adults exiting homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to programs supporting young adults exiting homelessness.
  • Supervise and train program staff, including residential counselors and case managers.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community providers, including referral agencies and resource agencies.
  • Manage program budget and ensure agency procedures are followed.
  • Coordinate intakes and assessments, and support case managers in keeping charts and paperwork up-to-date and complete.
  • Represent the agency at community meetings and activities, as needed.
Requirements
  • Passion for the Larkin Street Youth Services mission to end youth homelessness.
  • Experience in case management with transitional aged youth (TAY), aged 18 to 25, of diverse backgrounds.
  • Previous experience in leadership roles, preferably in direct-service roles in drop-in centers, shelters, transitional, and/or permanent supportive housing programs.
  • Self-starter and team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to serve as an After Hours On-Call Supervisor for 7 days, every 6-8 weeks.
