Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in veterinary technology, including lectures, labs, and clinical rotations.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that reflects current industry standards and best practices.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Veterinary Technology or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in the state of Texas.
  • Teaching experience in veterinary technology or a related field.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, with a variable schedule that may include evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 10 pounds and be able to sit for long periods of time. The position is located in a office environment with minimal physical demands.

The successful candidate will be subject to a criminal background check.

Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching and learning, and be able to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.

The position is open until filled, and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
