We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service, Inc. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site medical care to large crowds and events, including sporting events and local venue stand-by coverage.
  • Assess patients and provide appropriate medical care, including stabilizing injuries and administering medications.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently, using map reading and navigation skills to ensure timely arrival at medical facilities.
  • Accurately document patient information, medical history, and treatment provided.
  • Maintain the ambulance in a clean and sanitary condition, monitoring fluid levels and gauges.

Requirements

  • NREMT (National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) certification or current state license.
  • Ability to provide medical care at the EMT level, while safely transporting patients.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Pass a pre-employment interview, including a physical and lifting examination, drug screen, and background check.
  • Attend company-provided training and driving courses.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • PHTLS (Prehospital Trauma Life Support) or BTLS (Basic Trauma Life Support) certification.
