We are seeking a skilled Emergency Services Technician to join our team at Elmhurst Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct care to patients, working closely with RNs to coordinate activities and ensure the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide patient care tasks and procedures as needed to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients
* Work under the supervision of RNs and according to established procedures
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
* Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements

* A minimum of six months of recent paramedic experience in the State of Illinois
* Demonstrated proficiency in technical skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork and communication
* Ability to prioritize and multi-task
* Ability to receive and follow through on directions
* State of Illinois Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMTP) licensure
* Current CPR certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross
