Orthopedic Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Technician to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As an Orthopedic Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with casting procedures, including cast removal and application
• Perform vital signs and other clinical tasks as needed
• Provide excellent patient care and education
• Support office activities and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited medical assistant program preferred
• Current CPR certification required
• Passing the Registered Orthopedic Technologist certification test within 12 months of hire date
• One year of experience in a physician practice setting preferred
