Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Oak Security Group, a leading manufacturer of access control solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity in our warehouse environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and hardworking employee who can think on their feet, catch on quickly, and be flexible to adapt to priority changes. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for coordinating distribution functions, including shipping and receiving, inventory control, and warehousing functions. You will also be responsible for accurately managing material in the warehouse while picking and building orders to be shipped.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate distribution functions, including shipping and receiving, inventory control, and warehousing functions.
  • Receive and ship material accurately and promptly.
  • Accurately manage material in the warehouse while picking and building orders to be shipped.
  • Work inside our business ERP to ship, receive, and maintain inventory and make specific changes in inventory based on assembly item builds and unbuilds.
  • Accountable for maintaining an accurate count of inventory in the warehouse through regular cycle counting and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse and assembly area.
  • Communicate with supervisors and coworkers to create a team atmosphere.
Requirements:
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Ability to lift, lower, and move product up to and in excess of 60 lbs. off and on warehouse shelves as well as up and down warehouse step ladders.
  • Fork-Lift Certified or has Driver's License and is willing to be taught and certified.
  • Intermediate computer skills and willingness to learn and work within company ERP.
  • Ability to be on your feet for most of an 8-hour shift.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skills.
  • Great attendance record.
  • Must Speak fluent English and have moderate communication skills.
