Maintenance Director

Interstate Waste Services is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our fleet of vehicles and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are performed in a safe and efficient manner, while also meeting the company's quality and regulatory standards.
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, welders, and administrative personnel, and will be expected to provide direction and guidance to ensure that all maintenance work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, with experience in managing a team of technicians and overseeing maintenance operations. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance operations to ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner
- Manage a team of technicians, welders, and administrative personnel
- Provide direction and guidance to ensure that all maintenance work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and control maintenance costs to ensure that they are within budget
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance management, with a strong background in managing a team of technicians
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
- OSHA Haz Com and OSHA Lock Out Tag Out certification
- Experience with maintenance software and systems
Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 per year
