Job Summary

Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to join the Field Medical Affairs Team. The successful candidate will develop professional relationships with national and regional healthcare opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals to provide medical and scientific support for Daiichi Sankyo initiatives in selected therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present disease state and Daiichi Sankyo product-specific data to healthcare professionals
  • Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information
  • Identify and facilitate engagement of qualified investigators and study committee members for Daiichi Sankyo clinical research programs
  • Gather customer insights regarding Daiichi Sankyo and competitor products to inform medical and commercial decision-making
  • Develop positive working relationships with local and regional internal stakeholders to enhance Daiichi Sankyo HCP relationships
  • Represent the Medical Science Liaison function by participating in Daiichi Sankyo meetings, functions, and events
Requirements
  • PharmD, MD, PhD, or NP in a health sciences-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1 or more years of experience in medical and scientific affairs, clinical practice, research, academic, or US-managed markets
  • Previous experience in Oncology, clinical research, and medical education preferred
