At GardaWorld, we understand the importance of compensation, which is why we offer competitive hourly starting rates across all markets.

Compensation:
$15.97 / hour + company benefits

Shifts:
  • Wednesday and Saturday: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (overnights)

  • Friday and Sunday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM + 1 flex day working 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:
Providing outstanding customer service is always your primary focus.
You will monitor and survey the premises, reporting on activities at your assigned location.
Respond swiftly in critical situations.
You will be proficient in drafting detailed reports.
Understanding when and how to enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards is essential.
Responsibilities include gate access control, vehicle patrols of the client facility (company vehicle provided during work hours), and routine foot patrols (inside and outside) of the property.
Additional duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
You should possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle record check are required.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
An Iowa State Security License will be provided by GardaWorld if necessary.
You must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions when required.
Experience and skills in customer service are essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
Basic computer skills are required.
Physical ability to climb stairs and walk long distances is a must.
