Job Summary

The Casual ID Monitor will serve as a key member of the staff that ensures the safety and oversight of the Kenneth Langone Athletics Center.

This role involves greeting all individuals entering the facility and monitoring the use of each facility within the KLARC, adhering to established policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unlock and lock the KLARC according to the facility schedule.
  • Turn on and off lights and AV/fitness equipment as needed.
  • Monitor individuals entering the KLARC to ensure authorized access.
  • Communicate maintenance, custodial, or security issues to the supervisor.
  • Respond to emergencies by initiating emergency procedures.
  • Oversee the facility to ensure the safety of participants and security of equipment.
  • Prepare incident and injury reports when necessary.
Requirements

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
