Job Summary: Clinical Management Consultants is seeking an experienced and visionary Nurse Director of Emergency Services to lead our client's Emergency Department in a beautiful city in Southern California.
About the Role: As the Emergency Department Nurse Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and clinical aspects of the Emergency Department, ensuring high-quality patient care and exceptional patient experience. You will work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer and a tenured Nursing Emergency Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve departmental workflow and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the clinical and operational aspects of the Emergency Department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement quality performance and risk management programs to improve patient outcomes and reduce risk.
- Collaborate with Emergency Physicians and other stakeholders to establish relationships and improve departmental performance.
- Develop and maintain the departmental budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and financial management.
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
