Emergency Department Nursing Director

Centinela Hospital Medical Center is a leading healthcare provider in the Los Angeles area, renowned for its commitment to quality and patient safety. As a 362-bed acute-care hospital, we offer a wide range of services, including emergency care, primary stroke center, orthopedic care, and advanced cardiac services.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the performance of Emergency Department staff.
- Collaborate with physicians, hospital staff, and outside agencies to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintenance.
- Minimum of two years supervisory/management experience.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferred.
- PALS and ACLS certifications upon hire and maintenance.
- Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
