About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Integration Lead to join our Infrastructure Engineering team at G-Research. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of our trading and research workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the technical conduit for trading and research workflows, ensuring a deep understanding of the technology in use, integration points, and associated dependencies.
  • Review and observe services provided by PaaS, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Provision proof-of-concepts (PoCs) or minimum viable products (MVPs) to drive business outcomes.
  • Owning and tracking key platform engineering tenants for PaaS, including stack simplification, UX improvements, and stability and automation.
  • Ensuring PaaS technical and product roadmaps align with the wider architectural vision.
Requirements
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and supporting complex systems.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end technical implementations from the application layer downstream through infrastructure components.
  • Experience with owning technical implementation across an organization, from automation and provisioning through to performance and benchmarking.
  • The ability to articulate and align technical challenges to high-value outcomes.
