Key Responsibilities:

Utilize specialized software to manage the shipping and tracking of packages through various carriers. Verify the accuracy of invoices and packing slips. Ensure timely delivery of goods to personnel across multiple facilities. Maintain organization and accessibility of stocked items. Support personnel requests by leveraging a management system to source goods, create requisitions, and generate purchase orders. Oversee the receipt and issuance of supplies and materials, while maintaining comprehensive records for tracking issued equipment and uniforms. Monitor inventory levels and adjust stock items based on usage patterns. Engage in daily communication with other departments and vendors to meet customer service requirements effectively. Supervise and train inmate workers in the operation of cleaning equipment and adherence to safety protocols, including the use of chemicals and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Oversee general maintenance tasks such as snow removal, painting, and waste management. Collaborate with county purchasing for capital equipment allocations. Conduct annual inventory assessments and coordinate monthly surplus pickups. Ensure accurate record-keeping for inventory designated for auction. Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.
