Chemical Dependency Rehabilitation Nurse

Catholic Health Service is dedicated to providing compassionate care and utilizing evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes. Our Chemical Dependency Rehabilitation program is designed to promote recovery for adults age 18 and over, utilizing various approaches including cognitive restructuring, relapse prevention training, and 12-step principles.
Job Details:
As a Chemical Dependency Rehabilitation Nurse, you will assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for patients in rehabilitation and recovery. You will partner with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction, advocating for and building meaningful relationships with patients and loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.
Responsibilities:
• Assess and monitor patients in rehabilitation and recovery
• Administer medication and document progress
• Manage overall care for patients in rehabilitation and recovery
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education
Qualifications:
• Passion for Chemical Dependency/Addictions Nursing
• 1+ Years working RN experience strongly preferred
• Previous RN experience working with psychiatric, addictions, or med-surg patient populations preferred
Education:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
Licensure:
• New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
Certification:
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
Salary:
The salary range for this position is $58.04 per hour. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
