Job Title: Communications Coordinator/Manager

Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES) is seeking a highly skilled Communications Coordinator/Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, year-round position based at Hallam Lake in Aspen, Colorado.

Job Summary

The Communications Coordinator/Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns, including social media, traditional advertising, digital marketing, and media placement. This role will collaborate with program staff and contractors to develop, execute, and improve all aspects of ACES' communication, enhancing engagement, maintaining brand integrity and affinity, and increasing community and donor support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote ACES' programs and services.
  • Manage and maintain ACES' website, blog, and social media platforms.
  • Provide in-house graphic design services for diverse organizational needs.
  • Coordinate public relations initiatives and events.
  • Manage and curate all photo and video assets.
  • Coordinate content producers to produce relevant and engaging content for ACES' social and marketing channels.
  • Assist in gathering information, fact-checking, and copywriting for collateral materials.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, plus minimum three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms, Google Apps, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience and comfort with presenting.
  • Ability to multitask, establish priorities based on department priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional time management skills, overseeing projects on a tight timeline with a high level of attention to detail, quality, and professionalism.
Benefits and Compensation

Salary begins at $50,000 with room for promotion and growth. ACES' benefit package includes a health insurance plan, dental insurance plan, matching retirement savings plan, health reimbursement account, flexible spending account, paid time off, a recreation benefit, and a discount on items in the ACES gift shops and on ACES classes.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday with occasional evening/weekend events throughout the season.
