Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident response and staff training.
  • EDD modernization.

Requirements:

  • Design, develop, configure, document, automate, and maintain complex information security-related Linux systems, policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Apply cybersecurity operation and fraud detection analysis and countermeasures for potential data and systems threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Actively monitor, analyze, and respond to complex incidents related to the proper application of privacy protection processes to identify, address, and mitigate suspected privacy, disclosure, and fraud incidents as well as inappropriate access and breaches of state and federal tax information and personally identifiable information.
  • Ensure EDD cybersecurity operations and fraud center systems, policies, procedures, and practices incorporate and comply with applicable federal, state, local, and industry legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

This position is located at EDD's headquarters office at 800 Capitol Mall, Sacramento, California. Benefits of working at this location include:
